On February 21st, 2019, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) and Bank of China USA co-hosted the 2019 Chinese Lunar New Year of the Pig Media Appreciation Reception at the Bank of China building in New York. Over 100 guests from the media and CGCC partners attended the reception.
Xu Chen, Chairman of CGCC and President & CEO of Bank of China USA delivered the opening speech. He thanked journalists and representatives of media, and longtime business partners for supporting CGCC’s work. He especially thanked the press and said: “Thank you for promoting the understanding among businesses and people of the two countries. We have a common goal to build a stronger presence of Chinese investments in the U.S., and to encourage more engaging dialogues between the China and U.S. business communities.”
