
On May 9th, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) hosted “Overview of the U.S. Advertising Market & Strategies to Navigate Through It” as part of the CGCC Lunch and Learn event series at the CGCC New York office. William Eydt, Client Partner of Financial Services at The Wall Street Journal joined the event as the guest speaker and shared his insights on the U.S. advertising market and its future. About 15 representatives from CGCC member companies and partners attended the event.

During his presentation, Mr.Eydt briefed the audience on his experiences in the advertising field and explained how media platforms have changed and how they will continue to evolve and progress over time. He expressed that the ongoing trend of everything “going digital” is unavoidable, and it is essential to adapt to market.
Mr. Eydt also shared three critical ideas to keep in mind in order to make an outstanding advertisement: “Earn Trust, Differentiate, and Be Digital.”
