On September 14th, 2022, CGCC hosted a special Leaders Roundtable event with Marc Holliday, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SL Green Realty Corp. at One Vanderbilt, the iconic modern skyscraper located in the center of Midtown Manhattan.
A select group of around 30 representatives from CGCC member companies attended the afternoon event, whose highlights included a one-on-one dialogue with Mr. Holliday, led by the President & Executive Editor of LEADERS Magazine David Schner, and a VIP tour of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, a highly immersive art and observatory experience produced by SL Green.
Wei HU, Chairman of CGCC, President and CEO of Bank of China U.S.A., welcomed attendees and recognized the long partnership between CGCC and SL Green. " The history and friendship between CGCC and SL Green are deep in origin. As the largest independent non-profit chamber of commerce connecting Chinese and American corporations, and Manhattan's largest office landlord, we both strive to promote and serve the business prosperity of New York City,” said Chairman HU.
During the dialogue, Mr. Holliday shared his career story, his outlook on the New York City real estate market, and the future of the workspace. He also emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and touched upon SL Green’s various initiatives, such as Food1st, a program that CGCC Foundation was proud to support.
